How to get Emoji emoticons in Clash of Clans Chat

Clash of Clans is one of the most additive strategy games on Apple iPad and iPhone. Clash of Clans has been constantly one of the Top apps on the App Store since its release and it doesn’t seem to be getting any less popular as time goes on.  Supercell seem to be constantly updating the game and keeping new and old players hooked with a wide variety of new weapons, defences and village upgrades.

I have been asked on several occasions how to get emoticons, smilies and icons in the Clash of Clans global and clan chat windows.  Here is a easy step by step guide to enable the icons, this will also work for other iPad and iPhone apps to as it installs a new system keyboard onto your iPad or iPhone and the range of new icons are available device wide.

Step 1 - Click the iPad/iPhone Settings icon

 

Step 2 - Select General Settings from left menu

 

Step 3 - Select keyboard option

 

Step 4 - Select Keyboards option

 

Step 5 - Add New keyboard

 

Step 6 - Select Emoji

All done!

Now when you go to use the on screen keyboard you will be presented with a new icon on your screen keyboard
